With hometown roots in rural Kentucky and a college-born love for city living, Heather appreciates Lakewood for its small town charm nestled within a big city. She began her real estate career in 2003 and has spent the last 8 years “Living, Loving, Listing Lakewood” as a realtor, resident and member of the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA . As active advocates of Dallas public schools, Heather and her husband bought their house in large part because it is within walking distance of Lakewood Elementary. Heather has one son, Lincoln, who will begin fourth grade at Sudie L. Williams TAG Academy.
Heather’s real estate career began in her teenage years when she answered phones for a local realtor. Years later, she worked for one of the largest commercial real estate companies in Raleigh, NC, and entered the Dallas real estate scene as an office administrator at a luxury agency.
“Real estate was a natural fit,” Heather says. “I always believe in being authentic — in my marketing, in my relationships — and that’s what the transition to becoming a real estate agent felt like.”
Heather brings an analytical eye to transactions, demystifying complex home buying contracts for her clients in language they understand. Buying and selling a home can be an emotional process, which Heather’s degree in psychology helps her guide clients through.
“I love that my clients become dear friends,” Heather says. “I love knowing people wherever I go. And I love finding that perfect fit in a home for someone with really specific needs. It’s exhilarating!”
